It’s a chilling feeling, being crammed into a person and feeling helpless, and not able to escape, and being flipped around and about, feeling like you are going to fall on your head sometime, necessarily. I gave in, and that I hated feeling as if I had given in, so that I turned out subdued.Next, that he took out me and stuck me into a hood, and that I had a terror attack. I felt as though I could not breathe and was suffocating, and did not think I could handle it. After a little coaxing, I finally relented and consented to try it . The second time wasn’t too awful, but I still felt like I was going to suffocate, and I was scared. He finally let me out of this hood after what felt like an eternity, also stuck into a metallic frame cage. Then he hoisted me into the air. Okay, so here, another thing; I’m afraid to death of heights. Particularly in a little cage, despite my misgivingsI had been stuck at the cage, so that I cried as he pulled higher and higher into the air, till I was nearly on top of the barn. He left me there screaming.The day, and it is almost time to go home. I really feel like I have been relieved of something this trip. Everytime I’m here, there’s typically a session or 2 which is more intense than the others, and I feel rested later. Usually it’s to do with some type of emotional injury, some kind of major anxiety. They challenge me here though, and coax me to face my fears, and I feel like I truly do wind up facing myself ultimately, and it’s a wonderful feeling. It’s something treatment never can do, but it is fascinating about this particular world, it gives something so intense, so from the normal, it allows you to be a person for an instant. It more than anything, relieves you. And so for me, allows me to really trust people , for just a time at least. I can’t wait to come back for one more session!You leave the plantation awed, never having understood there was a lot different world out there, behind closed doors. It’s time to go back home to the ordinary, to your life.
